The Institute of Technology Tralee
The Institute of Technology Tralee (IT Tralee) was established in 1977 as the Regional Technical College, Tralee and in 1992 became the Institute of Technology, Tralee. The Institute currently has 3,500 full & part-time students, employing 350 staff and provides a financial contribution of circa €60m to the local economy annually. IT Tralee operates on two campus locations in Tralee, Co. Kerry: the South Campus located in Clash and the North Campus located in Dromtacker which opened in 2001.
IT Tralee is involved in the provision of third level education, training and research & development for the economic, technological, scientific, commercial, industrial, social and cultural development of the State with particular reference to the region served by the Institute. Danmar Computers LLC is a private company operating in the field of Information Technology and providing vocational training in this field. Danmar has an extensive experience in developing modern Web and mobile applications that are used for educational purposes. Danmar also has long-term experience of carrying out European projects within which company’s R&D staff conducts research and prepares trainings tailored to the needs of various learners. During 15 years, Danmar has successfully implemented over 50 projects within Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Progress and recently Erasmus+.
In many of these projects Danmar was responsible for designing and coordinating dissemination strategies. Danmar Computers is the developer and provider of AdminProject (adminproject.eu), the on-line system for management of European projects. All activities of the company are based on wide and well-established cooperation network, both on national and international levels. Intercultural Business Improvement Ltd. (IBI) is a training and consulting company specialized in supporting clients to benefit from their cultural diversity, and enhancing intercultural effectiveness of staff. Founded in 1996 by Oscar van Weerdenburg and Ursula Brinkmann, PhD, the IBI team has gathered in-depth experience in designing and delivering intercultural learning interventions. At IBI, we combine insights from research on cultural differences and intercultural competence development with a passion for developing interactive and practical learning interventions. When designing interventions with and for our clients, we draw on a world-wide network of intercultural professionals.
We developed the Intercultural Readiness Check (IRC), a leading intercultural assessment tool, which assesses a set of vital intercultural competences. Numerous organizations have used the IRC to foster their intercultural competence development, and more than 600 individuals and organizations are certified to work with the IRC. In 2014, we published Intercultural Readiness: Four competences for working across cultures (London: Palgrave Macmillan), which captures our approach to intercultural competence development and places the IRC competences in the broader context of research and practical work on intercultural effectiveness.
RUNI was founded in 1996 in Sofia, Bulgaria and in 2007 was re-registered in Center RUNI. The activities are in three main directions – non-formal education, early language learning and working on national and international projects. The main goals of activities are gaining knowledge, soft skills and qualifications which help people adapt to the dynamics of social changes and nowadays requirements of the labour market. In order to achieve these goals RUNI Center applies modern, interactive and effective working methods, such as: training by co-experience and educational games, role playing games, simulations with feedback, storytelling and others. The activities of RUNI Center aimed at developing social skills and personal qualifications by creative thinking, partnership and team work. This way of work leads to tolerance and cooperation, effective communications and constructive decision making, successful conflict management and functional illiteracy combat. It also provides support and emotional acceptance for the trainees as well as reduces their fear of failure.
The main activities offered by RUNI in the sphere of non-formal education are creative thinking programmes as well as soft and civic skills trainings. The main goals of the programs are developing certain skills and aptitudes, such as personal and other people`s acceptance, tolerance, flexibility, self-confidence and resilience to the negative influence of the social environment.
Centre RUNI has successfully realized projects under European Programs connected to innovative methods in foreign language teaching and training.
RUNI Center has good experience in the field of non-formal education and trainings with focus on developing basic and skills, fighting illiteracy and unfunctionallity. The main focus of the activities is the improvement of the quality of the trainings and professional skills of trainers. We participate in many EU projects, which are aimed at the promotion of wellbeing and empowerment of people, including qualifications, career guidance, soft and basic skills trainings. Special attention is paid to the entrepreneurship for adults, as an alternative for employment.
We have a big experience in organization of educational events, which include workshops, trainings, seminars using the methods of non-formal education.
RUNI Center activities are aimed at the improvement of knowledge and skills of educators and encourage them to lead more interactive and beneficial trainings. RUNI Center team has the capacity to reach a wide audience of educators, because it has contacts with educational centers and NGOs.
The members of the Center are experienced in both participation and coordination of various projects under national and international programmes connected to active citizenship, leadership skills, entrepreneurship, working skills, ecology, education, etc. They have leaded and participated in different national and international trainings which has given them useful knowledge and experience in different fields which makes them capable in leading different projects.

Centrum Kształcenia Edukator Limited Liability Company is a company operating on the Polish training market. The institution is based in Rzeszów, and it belongs to the sector of small and medium enterprises (SME). The main business activity is training and consulting support. The company employs highly qualified trainers and advisers, with special attention to their qualifications (part of Erasmus+ the staff are university lecturers with a PhD), and a very rich experience in training (in many cases, trainers are members of professional associations). The main thematic area of training and consultancy are entrepreneurial processes and information technology. The institution organizes an entrepreneurial training, accounting and finance, and information technology for hundreds of participants. In addition, a very important area in the area of training are the vocational training, including certified training, ending in an examination. These courses lead directly to professional qualifications, or in situations where the law requires – an examination by corresponding national organization (e.g. Office of Technical Inspection, the Provincial Traffic Centre). The company has wide experience in organisation of trainings within EFS funds, for which organisational and logistic skills are needed as the courses can take place in various places at the same time. Within these courses, trainers of Edukator worked with different groups of learners, trying to support the process of learning with the use of ICT resources. One of important for the organisation groups is people with low qualifications, which often are unemployed and require guidance. For that reason, Edukator employs professional advisors that are able to guide people not only regarding professional development but also soft skills development and general life orientation.
Diciannove società cooperativa was established in 2005 as as an ICT cooperative company, it focuses on support for organizations active in social issues, and it operates mainly in Northern Italy, providing solutions to health and social departments in 3 regional Health Dept and to the National Ministry of Education.
